PrView
version 0.3
Application for P(r) inversion.
NOTICE: the PrView prototype has been incorporated into the final production application: SansView. At this time there are no plans to continue supporting the standalone application. Thanks to everyone for your feedback.
September 6, 2010: PrView version 0.3.3 is now available.
Roadmap:
PrView is a prototype application provided to the community to generate feedback. It is intentionally limited in scope and functionality, and is part of a broader effort to provide analysis tools to the SANS community. In providing this application, we hope to learn about the analysis needs of our users. We are interested in suggestions in two areas:- Functionality: what functionality would you like to see in an analysis application for SANS
- Ease-of-use: how would you improve the user interface
What's new in version 0.3:
- Functionality to save and reload inversion results.
- Functionality to explore and plot output parameters for a range d_max.
Installation and Usage:
- Windows: download the installer.
- Linux: download and run the build script. The build script will create a prview directory to install PrView in. Once the build is complete, run python run_prview.py in the prview directory. PrView runs on python 2.5. Read the release notes to know what python packages need to be installed.

Known issues:
These are issues that are currently being addressed:- The additional data plotted on the P(r) graph is not automatically normalized when plotted. Users have to manually normalize the graph using the context menu.
