The DANSE project has ended
The SANS software developed under this project has been taken up by an international consortium and can be found at sasview.org
Thanks to this NSF/UTK/NIST development effort, SansView was developed as the flagship SANS application. This application has gained considerable interest from the community and in October of 2012 completed its transitioned to a new international collaborative stewardship model with the support of five facilities: NIST, SNS,ISIS, ESS and ILL. As part of the transition the software has been renamed SasView in anticipation of engaging the SAXS community as most of the work is relevant to SAXS as well as SANS.
We hope this seed continues to grow and flourish through the stewardship of the facilities and the support and development of the entire community. Thanks to everyone for your feedback and support throughout the project and we hope you will continue your support as the software effort grows into a truly international, community driven project.
